Gfinity Global Race August 2020

Team Fordzilla have been offered the chance to compete in a very special event this year ,which at the moment is a little top secret ,

the ‘V10 R-League’, the 1st championship in the Global Racing Series in partnership with @Gfinity.

Some of the biggest names in motorsport go head to head on the virtual track for a prize pot of £100,000 Follow our news feed for more.

The Fordzilla team  met in Galicia to enjoy a real day of karting fun and to prove, once again, that it is a great team. This video was recorded there, in which we get to know a little better the young promise that everyone talks about, Abel Torres. “When I started taking him to kart circuits, people asked me how long I had been racing, because of the way he was cornering. I told them that it was the second day we were here, that I  had learned to drive in video games, ”says Abel's father, Martín Torres. This is one more example of the alternative that virtual races represent  to more traditional initiation cradles in the world of competition.

Team Fordzilla @Autosport international

Our esports team gained valuable experience during its second outing at Autosports International, in the UK in January. But there was to be no glory at the NEC, Birmingham, with the Team Fordzilla pro team ultimately coming home 8th. Team Fordzilla’s Cammie Sturch (CammieRacing) came fourth in the Pro-Am race on her team debut with the team.

It’s no secret Team Fordzilla have been super busy since launching in August 2019, and in November Angelo aka @asmoogl took his Team Fordzilla crew to the Essen Motorshow for a visit, and a bit of competitive sim racing.

Once the guys checked out the show, it was time for some racing at the Recaro Performance Challenge which our very own Felix Piechotka won… with a broken hand. Truly mind over matter for this guy!.
